TeamViewer Tensor pricing: what belongs in the quote?
Build a requirements list before comparing totals. Separate support operators and peak simultaneous sessions from the devices they support. Add the required identity integration, connection restrictions, audit evidence and service-desk integrations. Ask the offer to identify software, options and any implementation services separately. Compare the full subscription period and renewal terms, not only a monthly equivalent.
Start with the support operation
Draw the relationship between operators, device groups and locations. A central service desk supporting branches has a different permission structure from a supplier supporting only a defined machine group. Identify attended and unattended scenarios, normal support hours and the owner who approves access. This map is the foundation of the Tensor brief; a total headcount alone is insufficient.
Single sign-on answers who is signing in
Tensor supports integration with enterprise identity providers. SSO lets the organization use its identity process for operator sign-in; user provisioning addresses account lifecycle. List the identity provider, domain ownership and onboarding/offboarding requirements. Connection authorization is a separate question, so a successful SSO test should not be your only acceptance criterion.
Conditional Access answers which connection is allowed
Conditional Access entitlement depends on the Tensor configuration; confirm whether it is included or requires an option. It can apply centrally managed rules to remote connections. Define the permitted users, groups, endpoints, activities and time windows, then confirm the available configuration. Test both an allowed connection and a connection that should be denied. Do not enable restrictive rules across production before understanding the impact on legitimate support paths.
Auditability answers what can be reviewed
Tensor offers event logging for relevant activity, with access limited to authorized reviewers. Decide which events your organization needs, who reviews them and whether export into another system is required. Logging must be configured and evaluated; a capability name does not guarantee that your specific evidence or retention requirement has been met. Keep session content and administrative events distinct in the brief.
Deployment connects the design to real endpoints
Record OS versions, device ownership, installation privileges and network constraints. A representative evaluation should include each important device class and location. Decide how configuration reaches endpoints, how devices are assigned to the right support group and how an administrator can recover from a failed change. Agree an owner and acceptance evidence for each step.
Integrations need a workflow, not just a logo
If technicians start work in a service desk or identity platform, describe the desired handoff into a remote session. Specify the application, edition and administrative requirements. Confirm the relevant integration and commercial entitlement before treating it as included. The useful test is whether a real support task can be completed with the correct identity, permissions and record.
Define success without invented savings
Use measurable evaluation criteria such as successful access to an approved test device, denied access to an excluded device, removal of a departing test operator and retrieval of the expected event record. Establish current support measures before estimating any improvement. This is a suggested evaluation design, not a claim that Orbislum has achieved a particular result for a customer.
Ask for a proposal with a clear boundary
Send operators, concurrency, endpoints, countries, identity provider, integrations, add-ons and subscription period. Separate software licensing from rollout, training or support services. A proposal should identify inclusions and exclusions in writing. Request Tensor specifically in your message so the enquiry is scoped around enterprise access governance rather than a generic remote-control purchase.
Plan your purchase
- Operators and concurrent sessions
- Endpoint groups and countries
- Identity provider and access policy
- Required records, integrations and add-ons
