Manage the device throughout its working life
Scalefusion UEM brings endpoint administration into a central management workflow. Enrollment, application distribution and device policies are different stages of that work. Begin with an inventory of the devices and the tasks they perform so the proposed configuration supports the actual operating environment.
Mixed systems require a capability check
Scalefusion lists support for Android, Apple platforms, Windows, Linux and ChromeOS. That does not mean every command or enrollment method is identical across systems. Record OS versions, ownership, enrollment options and the controls required on each group before selecting a plan.
Dedicated devices and kiosk use
For reception screens, field devices or task-specific tablets, kiosk management can limit access to approved applications. Decide whether one application or several are needed, how users authenticate and what happens when connectivity is lost. A locked-down interface still needs an authorized maintenance route.
Corporate ownership and personal devices
Company-owned, shared and personally owned devices have different boundaries. Define work-data access and administration permissions for each group. Test policy behavior and operational impact with the relevant owners before broad deployment; a product capability is not a substitute for your organization’s device policy.
Build a device-based quotation
Include counts by operating system, ownership model, kiosk requirements, application distribution and rollout schedule. Identify existing management tools and any migration needs. Enquiries have no fixed country list, while availability, plan features and commercial terms are confirmed for each deployment.
UEM, identity and security are separate decisions
Scalefusion UEM addresses device management. OneIdP and Veltar have distinct identity and security scopes; do not assume their full capabilities are included in every UEM subscription. Map required controls to the actual product, edition and enrollment mode in the offer.
Industry use cases
The following illustrative scenarios connect documented product features to practical work. They are not Orbislum customer results. Confirm the selected plan and your deployment requirements.
Retail: keep a customer tablet focused on its task
A store offers a tablet for browsing a catalogue. Scalefusion kiosk mode can restrict it to the intended application or approved group of apps, subject to the operating system and enrollment mode. IT tests restart, loss of connectivity and the staff maintenance route before placing it on the shop floor. The aim is a predictable customer journey, with a controlled way for staff to recover the device.
Logistics: keep the right work applications on managed devices
A delivery operation needs its company devices prepared for dispatch and updates. Using application management, IT plans distribution of the supported work apps to the relevant device groups and verifies the result on a pilot. The team tests scanning, connectivity and update behavior with operations staff. The objective is a maintained work setup; app availability and deployment methods must be confirmed for each device platform.
