Requesting a quote
You can send your requirements using the quote form or contact info@orbislum.com. Sending a request does not place an order or create a software licence.
Information we use
We use your name, work email, organisation, country, requested software, licence quantity, organisation type, preferred term and message to handle your enquiry. Telephone is optional. The form also records language, source page and campaign parameters when present. Do not send passwords, licence keys or sensitive personal information.
Purpose and legal basis
We use enquiry information to clarify requirements, prepare quotations and follow up on the request. For business contacts, our legitimate interest is responding to an enquiry initiated by you and maintaining relevant business correspondence. Where you personally request steps towards a contract, we use the information for those steps. We use security information in our legitimate interest in preventing abuse. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Hosting, email and security
Cloudflare provides website hosting, temporary request storage, spam protection and email delivery. Google Workspace is used for email correspondence. Security checks may process your IP address and browser information. The application does not include your IP address in its saved enquiry payload, although providers may process it in security logs. Access to enquiries is limited to authorised people handling them.
Retention
Our policy for enquiry emails that do not lead to a sale is deletion 12 months after the last communication. Correspondence needed for an ongoing contract, a legal obligation or a dispute is assessed separately according to that purpose. The website clears the temporary message body after the email provider acknowledges sending; unconfirmed requests remain available for investigation. A daily cleanup removes application request records older than 30 days. This cleanup does not delete email copies or provider backups.
International processing
Cloudflare and Google operate international infrastructure, including in the United States. Their published data-processing terms describe transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses and UK provisions where applicable. Contact info@orbislum.com for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry. We do not promise that all information stays in the United Kingdom.
Your rights and objections
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Send requests to info@orbislum.com; we may need to verify your identity. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or your competent local data-protection authority.
Your choices
Providing enquiry details is voluntary, but without contact details and requirements we may be unable to prepare a quotation. The website does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Language preference
When you choose a language, a first-party preference cookie remembers that choice for up to 180 days. It contains only the language code and is not used for advertising. On the main entry address, we otherwise use your browser language, then Cloudflare’s country estimate, to choose an available language. You can change it in the page header or remove the preference through your browser settings.
Optional measurement
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 measures page visits and confirmed quote submissions, using the page address without query parameters, language and product category. Names, email addresses, phone numbers and enquiry text are not sent to Analytics. Google Tag Manager loads only after analytics consent; advertising storage and personalization remain disabled. Analytics cookies and your preference expire after up to 180 days. You can reject optional cookies or reopen Cookie preferences to withdraw consent; this stops future measurement. Google may process technical data internationally.
