Begin with the research question
Describe the variables, experimental structure and intended comparison before choosing an analysis. Prism supports scientific analysis and graphing, but software cannot decide whether observations are independent or an experimental design is appropriate. The research team owns these decisions.
Match analyses to the method
Group comparisons, regression and dose-response fitting are examples to review against the current product documentation. Identify the exact methods your lab needs, then evaluate them using non-sensitive representative data. Avoid sending research participant data through the public quote form.
Design the figure for its reader
Decide the variables, units, uncertainty and comparisons that the figure must communicate. Review output requirements for the intended journal, report or course. A polished chart does not resolve an inappropriate analysis; verify interpretation before polishing presentation.
Turn the workflow into an access plan
List researchers, teaching staff, operating systems and access duration. Separate short courses from ongoing research groups. Use the academic licensing guide to evaluate administration and eligibility, then request a proposal for the actual group rather than a generic campus assumption.
